My name is Tommy Dean, and Im the founder of OurPlace!
This site is primary a social network site like any other. Upload pictures and videos, blog, listen to music, interact and comment with other members, etc.
There is one major difference that I hope convinces you to stay with me.
NO ALGORITHMS. My vision for this site was to be free of bias, and to be free of conflict where it was not needed nor wanted. Although you may share differences with your fellow members, it will not be the basis of what you see on your activity feed. You will see only what you want to see through blogs, and the general comments and replies that come with any social network. We are all humans here, and our differences is what makes our humanity.
With that said, you are all welcome here. Enjoy the simplicity and fun of OurPlace, along with the freedom to code your pages using HTML like the days of myspace!
